LAW SCHOOL TO CHEF

Adelline is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa. Her path has taken her from studying law and working in human rights, to corporate consulting and running an eco-focused baby store. In 2019, she completed professional chef training, and has since been sharing her love of food and a practical approach to healthy, sustainable living. She’s also the one who first introduced Steven to yoga.

ECONOMIST TO YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Steven was born in Belgium, where he completed a Masters in Economics and Commercial Engineering. He began his career in Antwerp with a corporate company that sent him to Africa to develop new business, first in Lagos, Nigeria, and later in Johannesburg, South Africa. In Johannesburg, he met Adelline, who introduced him to yoga. A few years later, Steven left his role as managing director to become a full-time yoga teacher, first in South Africa and now at Kumba Lodge.
